first day of sdba heats today.

to everyone: we've tried our best. we showed others what our team is made of. even though we didnt win, even though we were the last in some events, we completed the race. some race, we surpassed expections of what others have of us. even though we've only trained for 1/2 year, we did not give up. we did all we could, we tried our best. and to me, that's enough. that's my team. that's us. :)

under17: was utterly crap. felt we could do better..nihaad wanted to go faster, i just wanted to complete the strokes. coordination problem..hai. felt really useless. we were the last. its the kind of feeling where things just go wrong. bad mooded awhile..

soon was the under19 competition:

under19: nihaad said she'd follow my pace. so we started off. was fine. paddled on..then the temasek ppl banged into us. bah. den continued..we sort of were on par with this another school, but in the end, we beat them. it felt so..right. utterly happy at that moment. njc was first..tan mei xiu and her partner. den rjc. we were third! :) looked up, saw esabella. she said we were good! haha. nice :)

anw, timing for u17 was better than u19?! hahaha. abit funny right?

after that, cheered somemore. people, dont be disappointed k? we came for experience. as what jiaolian said. if we dont win, that's expected. but if we do, that's a bonus.

not sure if i'm going down tmr. see my dearest starlet and adel. shall see.

sunday's race. er. i shall not give up at this pt. but..i feel we'd be last? considering there's 2 rjc competitors, 2 nj competitors with an excrescentian in each canoe. and dunno who else. yep..


after all, had dinner with calista,jiam,stella. stella was being her usual lame self. -smacks forehead- den me and cal went to try clothes while jiam and stella went kino. met nic after that. bus ride home. yawn. sleepy! reached home at..11.30 liddat? cal's 67 took so long to come...

oh! forgot to say,
we all witnessed a pretty rainbow on the bus ride back to school!
